Class Reunion - 2012

Steve Rovell would like to have a meeting about our 40th reunion between Christmas and new year's if anybody is going to be around please let us know. Please forward this link to classmates if they are not on this list.

Steve has been asked by a number of people to target an October time frame. He is trying to keep it in Bellville as well. We have three places we can possible use. Let him know what you think.

Michael J. Rogers

Michael J. Rogers, 49, brother of Nutley Police Sergeant Steven Rogers, died Dec. 21 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was buried Dec. 24 at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Fort Dix, after receiving full military honors at a base chapel service.

Mr. Rogers was born in New York City graduated from Belleville High School in 1972 and lived in Nutley for several years before moving to Seaside Heights. He served in a Marine combat infantry division during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Rogers was vice commander of American Legion Post 351 in Seaside Heights an served in numerous organizations committed to bringing care and comfort to U.S. veterans worldwide.
Surviving are his mother, Anna; brother Steven; sister Madeline Perrone and two daughters, Anne and Laura.

Sgt. Steven Roger's son, Steven, a lance corporal in the Marines, presented the casket's flag to Mr. Roger's daughters.
